NYC Marathon Course Map 2010

People from all walks of life will once again flock in the New York City streets for the 2010 New York City Marathon.

This is an international marathon so expect people from different races will come and join the said race.


Last year's winner was Meb Keflezighi. He was the first American to win the NYC marathon since year 1982.

Almost 2,000,000 people watch the race live.

The overall length of the marathon was 26.2 miles.

The New York City Marathon will be on Sunday, November 7, 2010 beginning at 8:30 AM.

It is usually a star studded marathon wherein notable personalities join the race. Bobby Flay, Jared Fogle and Robin Quivers are some of the notable personalities who will join the marathon.

It's not only star studded, it also has an emotional touch because one of the Chilean Miners who were trapped by 2 months, Edison Pena will join the race as a special guest.

The NYC Marathon will be covered by the NBC New York.

The NYC Marathon will start on the Staten Island side of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. It will continue up to the Brooklyn and the Queens and it will then cross the Queensborough Bridge right to Manhattan. From Manhattan it will go up to the Bronx and then south again to Manhattan. The finishline is at the Central Park.
