Atlants Hawks Beat Chicago Bulls In Game 1 Of Semifinals NBA Playoffs 2011

The question that linger on the minds of the Atlanta Hawks fans, "can Joe Johnson lead his team to victory against the likes of the Chicago Bulls and other top teams in the league was answered earlier as the Hawks flew by the rampaging Bulls. The Hawks won the game with the score of 103 to 95. Joe Johnson had 34 big points. He ate the defense of Keith Bogans. The bad news for Chicago is that despite Kirk Hinrich's absence in game 1 for the Hawks because of his hamstring injury, the Bulls still lost to them. Also, Derrick Rose aggravated his ankle injury in the dying minutes of the 4th quarter as he stepped on Jamal Crawford's left foot. He will undergo MRI to know if he can play in the second game. If he will be sidelined this will hurt his MVP campaign. Kobe or Wade might snatch the award from him. let's cross our fingers for Derrick Rose. In this game, Derrick had 24 points to lead all scorers in his team.

The Hawks are the underdogs in this series but they are drawing inspirations from the heroic acts of the Memphis Grizzlies and from the support of their fans who flew away from Atlanta Georgia down to the windy city, Chicago, just to see their team play. In life nothing is more important than doing your job with enthusiasm and with purpose. This is the strength of the Hawks because they are playing with these two values in their hearts. They also have a combo scorer in Jamal Crawford. In the eliminations he's just shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc but in their first round series against the Magic and now in their game 1 against the Bulls he's shooting on a 55 percent clip from beyond the arc. That's just amazing. I bet his fans from the Rucker Park are smiling right now. If the Bulls will be careless in their next games they will be in a critical situation especially that the Hawks are humming for a title.
