Talk n Text's New Import Scottie Reynolds to Replace Maurice Baker But Tropang Texters Wants Baker to Stand By

After a lack-luster performance in the PBA Governors' Cup, Maurice Baker will be replaced by the former Villanova player in the US NCAA, Scottie Reynolds. Snow Badua in fact Tweeted that Reynolds might already for Talk 'n Text on Friday. But the TNT management asked Maurice Baker to stand by and be ready just in case Reynolds might not click with the team, but I doubt that they will reinstate Baker because Reynolds is such a great player. I watched some of his videos in YouTube and I can say that he's good. He's fast and he's strong. At 6'2, he can do a lot of things on the court. He's a great on ball defender and he's a great fast break finisher. Talk 'n Text really got a gem of an import in Reynolds. He will be their asset starting on Friday.

Just like some of the other imports in the league right now he had also played for an NBA D-League Team. He played for the Springfield Armor. He averaged 13.1 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game and 5.9 assists per game for the Armors. I think that his biggest assets are that he's a great perimeter defender, he's a proven winner and he's a great shooter at the same time. Take note, he led his Villanova Team to a final 4 finish last year. That's just pure heart from this kid.
