Amare Stoudemire Not Disappointed with The Suns

Office Map

Amare Stoudemire scored 42 pts and 11 rebounds as the Phoeniz Suns beat the Los Angeles Lakers in their Western semi-finals showdown in the 2010 NBA Season. The Suns, having led by Steve Nash always go on in the playoffs but they always fall short whenever they play in the semi-finals. Banking on a run and gun style of offense, they easily get stifled because they don't have a well balanced team offense. But now as their core gets stronger each and everyday, with Nash who averages 18pts 15 assists per game and Amare Stoudemire getting his hands full against the big bigs of the Los Angeles Lakers, he is not at all disappointed with what they have accomplished, beating the rugged Portland Trail Blazers in six games and sweeping the San Antonio Spurs. He could have been traded to other teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers but he chose to give it another shot to the Phoenox Suns and he is making the most out of it. He did not shy away from the criticisms that have been thrown at him, that he has not been aggressive enough and he does not contests shots fully. He answered with a roar as he scored 42 points in game three to make the series more interesting and a future classic. Amare Stoudemire is on a roll. Hopefully he would be better as the series progresses. And that is highly probable since Robin Lopez is having a coming out party. He scored 21 points to help the Suns cause. One important point to make is that the Suns limited the Los Angeles Lakers to just 40 points in the first half. That is 20 points less.

Amare being compared to Blake Griffin is an understatement because he has many things in his bag of tricks: perimeter shooting and rebounding and on court defense and hustle.

GO GO GO Suns! Suns all the way baby!
