Herbert Bautista's Quezon City Basketball League

Quezon City Association of Private Schools especially the division two's major concern is the lack of exposure that their athletes are getting since the division one schools have monopolized the production of basketball players and athletes that go on to be athletes in famous universities and colleges that belong to the University Athletics Association or commonly known as the UAAP and the National Collegiate Athletic Association or commonly known as NCAA. With having enough lobbyist in the Quezon City Hall, they courted the interest of Herbert Bautista, the reigning and incumvent Mayor of the prosperous City to form alliances with them in order to highten the Sports programs of the said left behind division two schools and thus making them havens of basketball players that are equipped with the necessary experiences needed to become a great college cager for a famous university or college. These division two schools in Quezon City comprises the likes of Siena College in Del Monte Ave. Q.C. where the UST Tiger and now a member of the Smart Gilas Philippine Team, Dylan Ababou, Lourdes School Q.C. in Retiro, St. St Mary's Academy in Q.C., Jose Abad Santos Memorial School known as JASMS or formerly known as PWU or Philippine Women's University in Project 8 Q.C., Trinity University of Asia Q.C., St. James College Q.C., ICCS or Immaculate Conception Catholic School, Colegio De San Lorenzo where the famous De La Salle Green Archer Ryan Arana, Claret School Q.C. where the Rocket J C Intal came from, School of Saint Anthony is Lagro Q.C., Hope Christian Academy Q.C. and Grace Christian Academy Q.C.

This Herbert Bautista Basketball League will be held annually in Quezon City. Herbert Bautista's major goal is to bring back the glory days of basketball as he wants to revive each and every athletic program in those underrated schools in Q.C. As a former Siena College Q.C. Redstorm, I believe that this advocacy should be propagated because there are many talents in those division two schools. So, as the Nike swoosh says, "Time to Shine" for the youthful ballers in Q.C.

Here is the video of the said league that will be held yearly in Q.C.
