Avery Johnson The New Coach of The New Jersey Nets

After his jersey retirement in San Antonio and after he led the Dallas Mavericks to having its best record in the NBA, Avery Johnson is again on a mission. But this mission is a lot more challenging this time aroud. The little general's new mission is to lead the Downtrodden and struggling New Jersey Nets back atleast to the playoffs. Avery Johnson is the new headcoach of the New Jersey Nets.

Avery Johnson known as the little general loves to apply pressure defense and loves to apply a running game type of an offense can definite have a positive impact on the Nets. In the 2006-07 NBA season he led the Dallas Mavericks to 67 wins and 12 game winning streak. He also helped Dirk Nowitzki win his very first MVP award.

With Devin Harris as the pointguard, Courtney Lee as the shooting guard, Bobby Simmons as the small forward, Brooke Lopez as the center and Sean Williams as the power forward and with the third overall pick- Evan turner or Dexter Pittman or Solomon Alabi or Demarcus Cuzins, are on the Nets, Avery Johnson will have his hands full this upcoming 2010-2011 NBA Season.
