Manila Invitational Basketball Cup 2010

The Smart Gilas Basketball Team will again be tested as they will fight against big time teams not only in the Philippines but also in other continent as they join the Manila Invitational Cup 201O aired on QTV Channel 11.

June 24 (Thursday)
1st Game - Jordan NT defeats Ginebra Kings, 84-81
2nd Game - Smart Gilas def. Dongguan, 74-64

June 25 (Friday)
5:00pm - Talk & Text vs Dongguan
7:00pm - Jordan NT vs Smart Gilas

June 26 (Saturday)
5:00pm - Smart Gilas vs Ginebra
7:00pm - Jordan NT vs Dongguan

June 27 (Sunday)
5:00pm - Team #3 vs Talk & Text
7:00pm - Team #1 vs Team #2
8:45pm - Closing Ceremonies

FORMAT:

1. The competition will be (1) round elimination only.

2. There will be two guest (2) teams from the professional league (PBA) namely: (1) Talk n Text (2) Ginebra ; which will play purely exhibition games only.

3. All games to be played by Smart Gilas, Jordan National Team and Dongguan New Century Basketball Club will count in their team standing including their games against the two PBA Teams.

4. Team No. 3 in the final standing will be automatically declared 3rd place but will still play against a PBA Team for exhibition as first game in the final day.

5. Team No. 1 and Team No. 2 in the final standing will play one game for championship.

6. FIBA rules will be fully implemented
