Air 21 Beats Alaska Aces In PBA Season 36 2010 Game

Air 21's Nonoy Baclao stopped Joe Devance and LA Tenorio of the Aces as they beat them by 3 points to the tune of 86-83. They are now on a 2 game winning streak after beating the B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados via 88-80.

Of all the player of Air 21 it was Nonoy Bacloa's blocking skills that killed the Aces.

Wesley Gonzales the former Ateneo Blue Eagle scored 16 points while his partner in crime Ronjay Buenafe scored 25 big points and had a 7-of-12 shooting from the three-point area.

Rabeh Al-Hussaini and Nonoy Baclao had key contributions during the latter part of the game. Baclao made a great block against Joe Devance in the last three seconds of the game. That gave the win to Air 21 as they successfully end Alaska's three game winning streak.

Coach Yeng Guiao was so happy with the performance of his boys when he said,“I’d been waiting for this kind of game for our team to show. I wanted our team to show character and it finally did. I thought we got lucky the last time versus Derby Ace. In this game, we really earned it. We showed that we could go somewhere if we test ourselves, work hard and go to the limit.”
