The owner of this blog loves to play sports especially basketball. He learned to love the game when he was in 2nd year Highschool. He was a former varsity player. A hardworking pointguard and a certified leader. He once played with Dylan Ababou of UST Growling Tigers and The Smart Gilas Team. Dylan was in team A and the owner of this blog was in team B. They played for the Siena Redstorms in Del Monte Ave. Q.C. Thanks to his mentor and coach, Gene "Bang" Tumapat for he instilled in the heart of the owner the importance of camaraderie, hardwork, dedication, perseverance, discipline, brotherhood and patience.
As an utmost expression of his love for the game he tried out for schools such as UST but because of his lack in height and because of the abundance of great pointguards in UST he was immediately cut from the try-out pool.
This did not make him stop playing the sport that he loves. He is currently studying law and he wants to become a great lawyer someday.
He doesn't want to totally put an end to his attachment to sports. As a result of that desire to keep in touch with basketball, he, together with his brother who owns TechPinas.com brainstormed and formed an idea that he should start his own blog. A sports blog. And thus, BallersPinas was born.
