Bobby Parks Jr Former NU Bulldog Goes To Georgia Tech University Division 1 NCAA School In America

He was the reason why the struggling National University Bulldogs became 2010 Unigames basketball champions and he was the reason behind the 9th place finish of the 3 on 3 Men's basketball 9th Place finish in the 2010 Singapore Youth Olympics his name is Bobby Ray Parks Jr.

He is a 6'4 pointguard from Memphis. His father, Bobby Parks Sr. was a 9-time PBA best import who played for the Shell Turbo Chargers in the 80's and his mother is a Filipina. He was born here in Manila thus, he can speak both English and Tagalog laguages. And since his father is working in National University in the Philippines as an athletic director he was bound to be a member of the National University Bulldogs. He was in their roster when NU bagged the Unigames 2010. He was a big plus for the team because he is a combo guard who can pass and score at will.

When the whole NU community and his fans heard that Bobby Ray Parks Jr. signed a letter-of-intent to play for the Geogia Tech Yellow Jackets, they had mixed emotions. They were happy and sad at the same time. Sad because their soon to to be UAAP star player has moved away to be with Georgia Tech and proud because this young boy spent some good times with them and that he is moving away because he wants to make the Filipino people proud.

He will now join the likes of Gabe Norwood who played for the George Mason Patriots, Japhet Aguilar from Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers, and Marcus Douthit from the Providence Friars who all played to a Division 1 school in the NCAA.

Here's his banner from Georgia Tech University:

He has been here in the Philippine for quite some time now. He was even practicing with the National Team for a while. He is ready to play for the Philippines but the team management said that he's too young for the team but he has the potential to be a great player. He has good handles for his size and he can flat out shoot threes.

He has already flown back to the USA to join the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. But I'm sure that this will not be the last time that he'll be in the Philippines. He will have to join our National Team.

Here's how he plays:
