MMICAA 2010 Opening And Basketball Games
The MMICAA or otherwise known as the Metro Manila Inter-Collegiate Athlete Association will usher in its 13th season which will be on Saturday, November 20, 2010 and it will start at 9 a.m. at San Juan Gym.
Every year the league has a theme. This year it's for the nation building. It goes like this: “Enhancing the Athlete’s Performance for Unity and Progress in Building the Nation.”
Just like any other leagues it has sporting events but they limited it to only 7 different sports, namely chess, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, basketball, badminton, and of course cheer dance.

It is but fitting that the 4 top cheerdance teams of the league to collaborate and do an intermission number for the audience come opening night. These 4 schools are the Central Colleges of the Philippines Bobcats, St. Paul University Manila Dance Troupe, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig Cheerdance Team and the College of the Holy Spirit Manila-Dance Troupe.
The good news for basketball fans is 4 thrilling basketball games are scheduled in the opening night.
