Rajon Rondo 5th Triple Double NBA 2010-2011 Season Highlighted By 24 Assists Record Breaker

If there is a surgeon in basketball its gonna be Boston's Rajon Rondo. He dissects every tiny crease in the defense of their opponents and he makes sure that they will pay for it. He can see through those creases and he can make the ball poss through those tiny passages. That is amazing.

If you want to be an outstanding pointguard watch him play. He knows how to set his teamates up in their most comfortable position. He knows how to hang in the air to have an eagle eye view of what's happening and then he will issue passes right between the eyes of his defenders.

He's not just a great passer he's also a great thief when he wants to steal the ball from you, he can do it like a surgeon.

An assasin in jersey, that's Rondo for you. When he bites he bites hard like a mosquito without you feeling the pain.

Last night his latest victim were the New York Knicks. He made them fall asleep as he rassle dassles them with crisps and timely passes. All in all he had a whopping 24 assists in that game. He places second in all time Celtic record for most assist in a single game behind Bob Cousy.

With his 10 points, 10 rebounds and 24 assists against the New York Knicks he just had his 5th triple double. With this record he's now tied with Isiah Thomas who accomplished the peat in 1985. The difference was that Thomas needed extra 5 minutes to do such a peat.

The most number of assists record in a single season belongs to Oscar Robertson, who had 41 in 1961-62 NBA Season. Rajon Rondo has now have 5 triple doubles. With 200 plus games reamining in the regular season of the NBA I think he can have all the triple doubles that he wants especially that their big men are now rolling at their best.

Here's the video of his 24 assists night:
