Gino Jumao-as of San Sebastian Staglets Goes To FEU Tamaraws For College Basketball

Gino Jumao-as Pangahas of the San Sebastian Staglets is now on his 4th year in High School. He will soon graduate from High School and for sure he will proceed to be a varsity player in college.

During his stay with the Staglets, he averaged 15 point and 4 assists per game. His greatest performance as a Staglet came in the NCAA Season 86 Juniors Finals when they went up against the San Beda Red Cubs. He scored 32 points while his rival, Baser Amer had 25 big points and 13 assists.

For sure, with his height, 6'3 and with his slashing ability and excellent finishing ability in the open court he is one of the top 4 high school recruits in the Philippines. The other three players would be Baser Amer of the San Beda Red Lions, Kiefer Ravena of the ADMU Blue Eaglets and Kevin Ferrer of the UST Tigercubs.

The question is, where will Gino Jumao-as go after High School?

For sure there are many different top Universities and Colleges that are interested to get him play for them. Baste is in his choice. His friend Mac Cam, his former teammate, who once played for the UST Tigers is for sure asking him to do the same. But here is the catch, Gino has a friend who is playing for the FEU Tamaraws. His friend's name is Cris Michael Tolomia. An RP Youth Member.

They are very close to the point that you will think that they are already teamates. It was shown in their Facebook accounts.



Also, a friend of mine who is from San Sebastian High School, told me that Gino told her that he will play for FEU because the school is close to his heart.

That's it, Gino Jumao-as will wear an FEU jersey next year.
