Saints vs Falcons:Drew Brees Rallies Saints To 17-14 Victory Over Falcons As They Get A Playoff Spot

It's the final week of the NFL's regular season and this time, it's for sure because the New Orleans Saints have defeated the Atlanta Falcons with the score of 17-14 last Monday night.

The New Orleans Saints' superstar, Drew Brees has proven time and time again that he can deliver for his team as he threw a six-yard touchdown pass to their rookie Jimmy Graham with 3 minutes and 24 seconds remaining. The Defending Super Bowl Champs, the NO Saints, has successfully secured a spot in the post season with a 17-14 victory over the Atlanta Falcons inside the historic Georgia Dome.

Drew Brees passed 35-out-of-49 passes, all in all for 302 yards, two interceptions and a touchdown for the NO Saints as they go on to beat the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints now have 11 wins and 4 losses. They have just redeemed themselves from a 30-24 lost in the hands of the Ravens last week.

Michael Turner had a great carrying day as he carried the ball 17 times all in all for 48 yards. His teammate, Roddy White had three great passes for 43 yards and a single score.

Meanwhile, Matt Ryan had successful passes. He had a whopping 15 out of 29 passes, all in all for 148 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons.

The Atlanta Falcons now have 12 wins and 3 losses. Though they lost in the game against the Saints, they still have a chance for a playoff spot.

The Falcons still managed to get a 215 yards from a great offense, but it was the lowest scoring total since the era of Mike Smith in 2008.
