Novak Djokovic Beats Roger Federer In Australian Open 2011

The Djokovic proves that he is the darkhorse of the Australian Open 2011 as he takes down the former world number 1 Roger Federer in a tightly contested tennis match which was held in the legendary tennis court in Melbourn Australia. As a result Djokovic enters in the grand slam final. It is his second time to enter the final.

Federer went down via straight sets. The set scores are 7-6 7-5 6-4. Djokovic will either face Murray or Ferrer.

The Serbian pride stunned Federer. It's his time and he is willing to do some trash talking with Federer. In sports, when all else fails never resist the temptation of saying what you have to against your oppponent. Djokovic did that in the third set. He matched Federer's intensity and bad mouth.

Federer went down in defeat with his head up high but Djokovic's head stands higher. Federer can still be happy because Nadal also suffered defeat in the Swiss Open.

Djokovic said that this is his best performance ever and he has gained enough confidence from this big upset win. The last time that he beat Federer was in the US Open.

He will either face Britain’s pride Andy Murray, the fifth seeded player, or the Spanish seventh seeded David Ferrer who is a veteran.
