Rose Bowl Parade 2011 Video Highlights
Whoever says that sports is not artistic, well you've got to see the Rose Bowl Parade because football players and cheerleaders spend some of their time in designing a very colorful and artistic floats for their fans.
The weather has not been nice this past few days because of the cold storm. But today, the weather seems very friendly. It was a very sunny day as the 2011 Rose Bowl Parade commences in Pasadena. It started at 8:03 am. Several US NCAA Football Teams showed their own style of making floats.
Paula Deen is this year's grand marshal. He is a television chef and author of several books. He rode in a 1923 Rolls-Royce. He is on the front end of the parade. He was followed by a colorful float in the form of a towering fairy-tale castle. This fairy is from a dream. And it symbolizes this year's theme, which is "Building Dreams, Friendships and Memories."
Many people especially those artistically and aesthetically hungry persons stood by to watch the parade. Some of them even slept over the night just to secure for themselves a great spot for them to see all the lovely floats.
