Kevin Love Ties Moses Malone for 51st Straight Double Double NBA 2011



Kevin Love is having a career season and part of it is having his 51st double-double in the NBA 2010-2011 Season. Last March 7, 2011, love tied the all time record of Moses Malone who had 51 times double-double games.

He had a great evening but they still lost to the hot Dallas Mavericks with the score of 108-105.

Love scored 23 points and 17 rebounds enroute to his 51st consecutive double-double game. Malone made the record in two seasons from December 1978 up to October 1979. His lowest output was 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Love will try to surpass the record this coming Wednesday when they play the Indiana Pacers.

Love has been averaging 20.9 points and a league record of 15.7 rebounds per game.
