Adidas Crazy Light Adizero Shoes Philippines Price, Pictures and More
Yesterday, May 29, 2011, Adidas Crazy Light was launched at the Moro Lorenzo Sport Center in the Ateneo De Manila University. Sport enthusiast from all walks of life, including top basketball players in both the college and professional ranks went to catch the Crazy Light launch. We all got some free kicks. That's just amazing! With the crowd, I can say that the Adidas Crazy Light is one of the most sought after shoes of the year.
I got a pair of this shoe and here are the insane details of this shoe. Take note, this shoe only weighs 9.8 ounces. This is the lightest pair of shoes in the world of basketball so far. This shoe is also the most innovative shoes that Adidas has ever made. Buying a pair will definitely be a good thing. Here's the first picture, fresh from the box. Cool right?
The good news is that, this shoe is available in 4 colors. I was fortunate enough to get hold of the lead and white color. I love the yellow-green color twist of the shoes. The Black color of this shoe will be out on July.
It has the Sprint Web and Sprint frame technologies which are very unique and seems to be strong and durable. It also has a multi-level traction pattern which is the idea of Robbie Fuller. These technologies are used to provide optimum foot support and weight reduction to give a lighter effect to the shoes. This shoe will let its user attack better and faster.
Here's how the back of the shoe looks like. It has the classic Adidas three stripes trailblazing the caldera of the shoes. The three stripes are also at the back of the shoe to highlight the outstanding side features and design of this shoe and also to symbolize that when you defend Derrick Rose, you'll only see his back because he's too quick.
It has a unique durable rubber out sole that. It's corrugated and at the same time its a bit thick that's why you can use this shoe both for indoor and outdoor basketball. I walked using this shoe and the ride was good that's why there are some dirt on the outer sole.
This shoe has a ground breaking inner sole. Look at it, it has tiny holes for breath-ability and comfort. Those holes also act as shock absorbers and they also reduce the weight of the shoes. This shoe has two pairs of foot padding and the default padding of this shoe is what you're seeing right now in the first picture below. The second picture below shows the other foot padding. It's called Adizero Crazy Comfort mid soles. It's softer compared to the default mid soles and its purpose is to reduce the foot strain whenever you're doing a rigorous work out. The catch is that if you'll just be playing pick-up games in basketball use the default mid soles or foot padding but if you'll be playing a more serious and a more demanding basketball game use the Adizero Crazy Comfort mid soles.

The official release of this shoe in selected Adidas outlets in the Philippines will be on June 3, 2011. It costs 6,995 pesos. It will be available in these following Adidas branches.
Here's the official review of this shoe courtesy of YouTube. It's a lot better when you see it in actual. I already have a pair of this shoe and it really looks great when you're actually seeing it. Here are the official videos of the shoes from YouTube:
This is a review of Gio Ariz, my friend who bought a pair of Crazy Light shoes. Thanks Gio!
