Ryan Mallett New England 's New Quarterback 2011 NFL Season Kick-Off

The New England Patriots have once again snagged a potential steal in the 2011 NFL Draft. They drafted Ryan Mallett, a long handed quarterback of Arkansas University. He has been viewed by many NFL scribes as one who has great potential. He will be a great back-up for Tom Brady.

Mallett has all the opportunity to learn from one of the best quarterback ever. He will be playing alongside Tom Brady, a great quarterback himself. The Patriots also has a deep bench that will lessen the pressure on Mallett to immediately deliver. They also have a smart coach that will give him the necessary drills.

He is one of the top prospects this year. He has a strong and accurate arm that can pass the football with dexterity. He could have been drafted in the first round but due to some bad feedbacks about his character, he was drafted in round 3.
