Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Set On November 3, 2011: A Brief Recap

Here's what I write in my previous post. I re-visited this post because I'm getting more excited to see Pacquiao's punching prowess against one of the best Mexican boxers, Juan Manuel Marquez. I wanna see Pacquiao satisfy Marquez's desire for Round 3. Just to inform you guys, the contract of the fight has been signed by both parties and the fight was scheduled to be on November 3, 2011. Manny Pacquiao will be the favorite to win in this Maquez vs. Pacquiao Round 3. In their first meeting, resulted into a draw and in their second meeting, the fight went in favor of Manny via unanimous decision. Marquez badly wants to get back at Pacquiao. The question is, can he still bring his A-game against the best pound for pound fighter in the world today? Marquez confidence is high after he beats Michael Katsidis. That's the biggest reason why he asked for a re-match against Pacquiao. His confidence is sky high after that win against Katsidis. Going on, here's the whole story behind the Pacquiao vs. Marquez Round 3.
Juan Manuel Marquez signed the contract today to fight Pacquiao on November 12, 2011 for another shot to beat Manny. Bob Arum confirmed the contract signing and he will fly here in the Philippines next week to present the contract to Manny Pacquiao. It will all boil down to Manny if he still wants a round 3 against Marquez. He should sign it if that's what he wants.

Just a recap, the first fight of these two fighters was a draw. The second fight resulted into a split decision in favor of Manny Pacquiao. Marquez felt that he should've won that fight. From then on Marquez's camp has been monitoring the fights of Pacquiao and they are sneaking in for a possible round 3. Their efforts seemed to have paid off because it appears that Bob Arum also wants a round 3.

Marquez is looking for a kill this time. Manny is well aware of that and he even said that he is excited about that. He further said while smiling that:

"For sure there will be many furious exchange of blows."

The fight was scheduled to be on November 12, 2011. That will fall on the latter part of this year. If we want a fight that's different from the Pacquiao-Mosley bout, then we should watch out for the Marquez versus Pacquiao Part 3. That will be a great fight for sure.
