Chris Ross Out For Meralco Bolts Because Of ACL Injury: Chris Timberlake To The Rescue
After suffering a dreaded ACL injury in their tune-up game earlier today, Chris Ross was reported to be out for the rest of the PBA Governor's Cup 2011. The MERALCO Bolts management decided to sign the speedy, 5'10 Chris Timberlake to fill in the huge space that the 6'1 Chris Ross usually occupies. MERALCO's run and gun offense, much like the Phoenix Suns will be badly affected by the loss of Chris Ross. Ross has mastered his point guard duties for the Bolts. He also knows how to finish fast breaks with ease. Let's just hope that Chris Timberlake will be able to do Ross' job well. Chris last played for B-Meg and I saw that he's also fast and he can shoot three-pointers. Let's pray for Ross' speedy recovery. I heard that Larry Fonacier also suffered the same injury and he was able to recover after quite some time. Going on, here's what Snow Badua re-Tweeted.
