Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Live In Manila Philippines? The Next Project of MVP Sports Foundation after The Ultimate All-Star Weekend w/ NBA Players
While I'm reading an article from Philstar.com, I came across a very interesting paragraph that gives a clue that Manny V. Pangilinan wants to bring the fight of the century- Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Jr. in the Philippines. Here's the said paragraph.
"The Ultimate All-Star Weekend had to be the most significant sporting event that the Big Dome has hosted since the Thrilla in Manila in 1975. Pangilinan said what could be bigger would be the showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr."
If you'll ask me if the MVP Sports Foundation can bring the fight here in the Philippines? I'll answer that it can be done because MVP is already acquainted with Manny Pacquiao and Bob Arum. He just have to work extra hard in negotiating with the very elusive camp of Floyd Mayweather Jr..
Also, to think that MVP was able to convince Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, JeVale McGee, Derek Fisher, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, and other NBA Players to play here in the Philippines, I don't see any reason why he will not be able to convince Mayweather Jr. to fight Pacquiao here in the Philippines.
MVP has the budget and he has a good staff behind him. MVP spent 100-150 Million Pesos in upstaging the Ultimate All Star Weekend here in the Philippines. His staff also did a great job in planning and in bargaining with the NBA players. They were able to negotiate well with Kobe Bryant and his co-NBA Players. That's why if Mayweather Jr. will demand more money, MVP can handle his demand well because he has the money and he has a great bargaining staff.
