NBA Game in MOA Arena? Wow!

This is the projected output of the MOA Arena. It resembles the Atlanta Hawks' Home Court Philips Arena. Photo from www.mb.com.

The Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers, these are just few of the NBA teams that Edward Tejero, the senior vice president for West Avenue Theaters Corporation is aiming to bring in the Philippines for a series of NBA games.

The Filipino organizers are saying that China and Japan have been the only Asian Countries that the NBA has been visiting throughout the years. The Philippines is also a big fan of NBA basketball, thus, we also deserve to be visited by the NBA.

The organizers led by Erl Orenza, the assistant vice president of the MOA Arena are trying their very best to contact NBA Asia. The only condition that they got from them was that the schedule must be 1 year ahead, and so the NBA games in the Philippines might happen on October 2012. They also said that the MOA Arena will be the designated venue of the games.

The only hindrance that the organizers are foreseeing is the current NBA Lockout. It might prevent the particular NBA teams in reaching our shores as a whole team because right now there's a stoppage of work in the NBA because of the lockout. To keep it simple, no work means no NBA team.

Hopefully by next year everything will turn out to be fine for the NBA so that they can be able to visit us in the near future.
