San Beda vs. San Sebastian NCAA First Round Match-Up Later at 4:00 p.m. will Determine Who Will Have an 8-0 Record: Will There Be A Repeat or Will There be A New Sweeper?
Today is the San Beda Red Lions vs. San Sebastian Stags' first meeting in the NCAA Season 87. Majority of the fans are saying that this first meeting will be very exciting because both of the teams are unbeaten in the first round of eliminations. They will bring their unblemished 7-0 record today and just like any basketball game, in the end somebody has to lose and somebody has to run away with the first round sweep.
Will it be a repeat of San Beda's last year's sweep or will San Sebastian put and end to San Beda's dominance? That will be answered later on today as the Red Lions will face the Golden Stags at 4:00 p.m., while in the first game at 2:00 p.m. the Knights of Letran will face the Bombers of JRU.
Last year's sweeper, San Beda, had Sudan Daniel, but now they don't have him because of an injury. His absence will even make the game later more exciting because the average height of both of the teams will be pretty much even. The players are evenly matched right now as far as height is concerned that why their skills and their experiences will be one of the determining factors of this game.
For me, the other thing that will strongly determine the outcome of this first round match up between San Beda and San Sebastian will be their well balanced team scoring. They both need their key players and their role players to step up in this game. Trust me, the team that will have an all around contribution from their players will turn out to be the winner of this game.
Some of the notable matches in this first round match will be Kyle Pascual vs. Ian Sanggalang, Calvin Abueva vs. Jake Pascual and Ronald Pascual vs. Garvo Lanete.
