Adamson Beats Ateneo In UAAP Season 74 Men's Basketball: Adamson is Now Sitting Pretty At The Number 2 Spot of The Final 4
The 29 game losing of the Adamson Falcons to the Ateneo Blue Eagles has finally ended as the Soaring Falcons flew higher than the Blue Eagles in their game a while ago. The final score of the game was 62-46 in favor of Adamson. The party poppers popped and the celebration has begun for the Adamson Falcons as they gave Ateneo their first loss in the UAAP Season 74. And not only that, they also captured the number 2 spot in the upcoming UAAP Final 4 which will start on Thursday.
To cut the long story short, the Adamson Falcons grabbed the driver seat from the Ateneo right from the start. Since then they've disciplined themselves all throughout the ball game to fend off Ateneo. They've managed to cling on to their lead until the final buzzer. They dominated Ateneo all throughout this ball game. They used their perimeter shooting and their great defense against the gunners of the Ateneo. And also, Adamson's go-to-guy, Alex Nuyles played like UCONN's Kemba Walker who sank all the crucial shots that Adamson needed to pull off this muc needed victory. Nuyles was eventually named as the best player of the ball game.
Adamson (10-4) d. Ateneo (13-1), 62-46. Falcons clinch #2 and twice-to-beat in Final 4 and break 29-game UAAP losing streak to Eagles. ADMU still #1, but has to go through Final 4.
