Jeron Teng To Play For DLSU Green Archers Next Year In The UAAP 75 and Not For UST: He will not Join His Brother In UST

Contrary to what other people have believed that the younger brother of UST's Jeric Teng, Jeron Teng, will soon be playing for the UST Tigers, I received a news coming from my dear friend Snow Badua saying that:

"KIEFER RAVENA's former UNDER-18 teammate JERON TENG has agreed to play for LA SALLE next year."
Yeah you heard that right. The famous guard (Jeron Teng) who once scored 104 points for Xavier School when they went against Grace Christian High School in the Tiong Lian League will be bringing his talent to Taft because he has already agreed to play for the De La Salle University Green Archers and not for the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers where his older brother, Jeric Teng is currently playing.

Jeron Teng is definitely a steal in the high school class of 2012. He is definitely a blue chip recruit and I believe that La Salle is in dire need of a go-to player like him who can score at will and who can also play team ball. But just like any other rookie in the UAAP, he needs to work harder on his craft so that he'll be battle ready when the UAAP Season 75 starts.

Jeron is a 6'1 guard who is relatively strong. He can get rebounds and he can post up smaller guards. He is good at shooting perimeter jumpers and he loves to go hard to the basket. But the problem in his game is that he doesn't a reliable 3-point shooting. He needs to work more on his shooting if he wants to thrive in the UAAP because at 6'1, scoring inside points is not a good idea especially when Ateneo's Greg Slaughter is in the shaded lane.

Here's how Jeron plays. He's the one wearing the number 6 jersey during the Singapore Youth Olympics.
