Maliksi and Maierhofer To Miss Ginebra Game vs. Alaska Tomorrow In PBA Season 37: Ginebra Is In A Bad Situation
The Ginebra Gin Kings just lost to the B-Meg Llamados in their game last Sunday and now after 2 days of rest, it seems that Ginebra will once again be in a bad situation when they face the rejuvenated Alaska Aces tomorrow. The Aces are on a 2 game winning streak. They first beat Powerade and then their latest victim was Shopinas. Ginebra on the other hand has lost 3 of their last 4 games.
I consider tomorrow's game of Ginebra against Alaska a bad situation because their 2 new players, Rico Maierhofer and Allein Maliksi will not be able to play. That's according to The Dean, Mr. Quinito Henson. He said that:
"no maliksi n maierhofer 4 ginebra vs alaska tomoro (nov 23) 2 rest but they'll prbbly play vs petron dec 2, stil 2 play meralco, barako, TNT."
Alaska is a very scary team especially now that they are on a 2 game winning streak and that they are now getting more comfortable with their new style of play under the guardianship of their new head coach Joel Banal.
Ginebra should be very careful tomorrow. They will no longer face the same Alaska team that they beat in their first meeting via 88-76. They should start the game on the right foot or else Alaska might beat them. The Aces might also tie Ginebra in terms of the number of wins this Season if they will beat them. Right now Ginebra has 4 wins while Alaska has 3.
JayJay Helterbrand will still be the player to watch for Ginebra tomorrow while for Alaska there's LA Tenorio, Jay-R Reyes, and Sonny Thoss.
