He was unstoppable during the first half which placed the Bolts in trouble to find their range because they just rushed their shots and they also failed to to stop Santos' momentum.
While Santos was on his momentum, Mac Cardona on the other hand was still having difficulties in scoring and in finding his rhythm in the first half. Fortunately, his teammates sank their charities to cut their 9 point deficit down to 5 to end the first half, 43-38.
Petron prohibited the Bolts to tie the score in the 3rd quarter. But Cardona and Taulava opened the last quarter with a bang resulting to the Bolts' 15-3 run that pressured the Boosters to fire hurried and rushed baskets that they missed. Their missed shots opened a window of opportunity to the Bolts to tie the game. But Arwind Santos was really determined to give this game to his team. He was on and off in this game but in the time that his team needed him the most he delivered great shots. He sank a 2 pointer that enabled his team get a one point lead, 76-75, in the latter part of the 4th quarter.
The Bolts' Nelbert Omolon gave a not-good-decision foul during the 22.6 seconds on the clock that gave the ball possession to the Boosters. At that point, the Boosters just shut the lights off for Bolts by pressing the ball until the time ran out. Petron won the game.
