Marcio Lassiter Talks About Trade Possibilities To Petron: Lassiter Is Ready For Anything!
Marcio Lassiter has finally extended his heartfelt sentiments on his possible departure from the Powerade Tigers. He is on the trade block and 1 step away from leaving his first team in the PBA as the Commissioner, Atty. Chito Salud will decide on Monday if he will approve the Lassiter trade which will bring the Rookie Sensation to Petron.
Here's what Lassiter said courtesy of AKTVCenter:
"I just got to face the fact that when it’s time to go, it’s time to go.
If I get shipped around 10 times, 20 times, one time, two times, I will be ready regardless. More likely you won’t stay in one team anyway for your whole career. It was bound to happen, you just got to realize it’s part of the game. To me, all that matters is if I’m on the court. You can give me jersey with no name and no number and I’ll play. You wouldn’t have to know my name—I’d rather be that [anonymous] guy.”
Indeed, Lassiter wore a jersey with no name in the Powerade Tigers' practice. He will still play for the Tigers as they take on Rain or Shine later today at the Cuneta Astrodome.
