Philippine Azkals Dominated Singapore To End 20 Year Losing Streak

The Philippine Azkals once again made the Philippine Nation proud after having defeated Singapore, 2-0.
The Filipinos who watched live at the Jurong West Stadium in Singapore all rejoiced to celebrate this huge win of the Azkals.
The Azkals have just ended their 2 decade losing streak against the Singaporeans, dating back from year 1991.
Chieffy Caligdong was the first Azkal who scored a goal in this match. Stephan Schrock was the one who facilitated the play for Chieffy in the 8th minute mark of the match.
In the 2nd Half of the match, Shrock once again facilitated another goal for the Azkals. He issued a nice volley pass to Phil Younghusband for an easy goal in the 49th minute mark of the match. At that point, the score was 2-0 for the Azkals.
Fazrul Nawaz of Singapore tried to tie the match in the 34th minute mark but his goal was ruled offside.
This match is part of the Azkals' preparation for the upcoming Suzuki Cup 2012. Philippines is in Group A while Singapore is in Group B.
The Philippines is grouped together with Vietnam and Thailand.
