Ricky Rubio Joins Adidas: The Spaniard Goes All In!

After a disappointing NBA Season due to an injury, Ricky Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves is looking to start a new life. He first worked his way back from that unfortunate knee injury. And then, afterwards, there were rumors that he will leave Nike to sign with another sports apparel brand.

Lo and behold, he was spotted in an adidas event talking with the heads of adidas. They are probably discussing the possible design of his adidas kicks.

The former No.5 overall draft pick in the 2009 NBA Draft said that:

“Growing up in Spain I always loved the adidas brand and their products,” said Rubio. “The last few years they’ve really changed the game with new technology and style in basketball shoes and apparel and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Rubio will join D-Rose, Tim Duncan, Brandon Knight and MarShon Brooks as the endorsers of adidas in the NBA.
