It's been a week since the PBA Season 38 Philippine Cup started. During the first few days of the Season, two players stood out. They are none other than Mark Caguioa and James Yap.

In GSM's win against the very tough Rain or Shine team, Mark scored 22 points. He led all the scorers for Ginebra in that game. James Yap on the other hand scored 20 big points for San Mig when they went up against Alaska. That game resulted to a lopsided win for San Mig.

Their prolific start this Season will make their first meeting all the more exciting.

I can no longer wait for Mark and James to face each other in PBA Season 38 Philippine Cup. That game will definitely be something to watch out for.

I checked the schedule of games and guess what, the GSM vs. San Mig game will be on November 5, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

As a prelude to their much awaited match up, let's take a look at their current Career Averages courtesy of PBA and NBA Updates FB page.
Mark Caguioa's Career Averages
17.8 Points Per Game | 7806 Total Points
2.5 Assists Per Game | 1139 Total Assists

James Yap's Career Averages
17.6 Points Per Game | 7271 Total Points

Their career AVERAGES are somehow close. No wonder, they are often being compared with each other.
