Coming from a lost last Sunday Dec. 2, 2012 against the Lady Tigresses, the Lady Archers made sure that they win their match against the Adamson Lady Falcons yesterday.

Coming into the match, the Lady Falcons last Sunday unlike the Lady Archers, won their match against the National University Lady Bulldogs in a very thrilling five setter.

But the Lady Archers seemed to the more determined team in this match.

The Lady Arches won the match against a very strong Adamson University in 3 straight-sets 24-26, 19-25, 18-25, making a statement that they are still the defending champions.

The Lady Archers entered the match looking very hungry for a win.

They won the thrilling first set 24-26 against a defence oriented team. The Second set was easily won by the Lady Archers 25-19.

The Lady Falcons started the third and final set with a high note, leading by as much as 5 points in the earlier part of the set until the Lady archers went crawling back in, with a very impressive 11-3 run, eventually giving them the win.

Mika Reyes was named as the Player of The Game with 13 points via 7 successful attacks, 5 blocks and 1 service ace. Gumabao rose from a slump last time around against UST. She helped Reyes in the scoring department this time around.
