ADIDAS KICKS OFF EVENTS AT ADIDAS IN THE QUARTER FOR NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND AT NEW ORLEANS

The brand with the 3-Stripes, adidas, recently launched adidas in the Quarter, an exclusive retail space and fan experience, created to celebrate the NBA All-Star Weekend at New Orleans.

Throughout the NBA All-Star Weekend, avid fans were given the opportunity to meet their favorite adidas athletes and entertainers through a variety of events.

The adidas in the Quarter ramped up on Friday with events featuring NBA All-Star John Wall of the Washington Wizards and NBA Legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Dikembe Mutombo.

Washington Wizards' John Wall surprised a 19 year-old Dionel Wiggins of New Orleans at the Exclusive All-Star Photo Shoot Experience with tickets for Dionel to watch Wall compete in the Sprint Slam Dunk competition.

The legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was at adidas in the Quarter to launch the adidas Originals “The Blueprint” Jabbar Hi and Dikembe Mutombo was on-hand for the adidas Originals Mutombo re-stock.

On Saturday, adidas in the Quarter continued with events featuring hip-hop artist 2 Chainz, NBA All-Star Joakim Noah, Harrison Barnes (Warriors), Tim Hardaway Jr. (Knicks), Goran Dragic (Suns) and Arron Afflalo (Magic).

Hundreds of fans lined the streets at adidas in the Quarter in New Orleans on Sunday to meet NBA All-Stars Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Dwight Howard celebrated the launch of his new signature shoe, Dwight Howard 4, with an appearance and fan autograph signing at adidas in the Quarter.
