There's another NBA Player who might go back to his home-town but this is in relation to the shoe
business side of things.

Reigning NBA Scoring champ and Washington product Kevin Durant has been the main subject of shoe game talks as his contract with Nike is set to expire this week and the USA Capital based sports apparel brand Under Armour is rumored to be preparing a BIG offer (roughly 30 Mil annually) to the lanky swingman.(according to ESPN).

Once KD becomes a  free agent in the shoe game, he can now entertain offers from UA, Nike and adidas (rumored to be also in hot pursuit of KD) via his handlers.
I’m just going to let my team be the ones who handle that behind the scenes, I guess. When you look at stuff like that, it’s great problems to have because people want you for what you know and do on the basketball court, the work you put in, so I’m going to continue to put my work in, let them focus on that on the other end, and we’ll come together at some point. As a plot twist, Kevin Durant canceled a 3-day visit to Nike Headquarters scheduled last August 4 up to today.
