Prince Caperal Praised by Coach Leo Austria aftter Game 2 Breakout Game

There were a lot of things to be worried about if you're coach Tim Cone. But despite being down 0-2 in the semis against San Miguel, a glimmer of hope appeared on the horizon.

The former Arellano University Chief Prince Caperal answered the call for Ginebra when coach Tim did his "Magic Bunot."

He quickly showed his inside and outside game as if he was part of the regular rotation of the team. This impressed the fans and his performance became viral on the internet.

On top of that he also defended really well against the Kraken Junemar Fajardo who we all know is a strong force in the shaded lane.

We won't be shocked if he will have a longer playing time in Game 3 and in the succeeding games because as they say in sports, if you put in 26 points and 8 rebounds in a limited playing time, you deserve more.

His performance earned the respect of so many people including San Miguel's very vocal tactician Coach Leo Austria.

“I have to give credit to Ginebra, especially the coaching staff, because there was a big adjustment on their game. They used players na seldom-used and I respect that player which is Caperal. I think a new star is born for Ginebra.” coach Leo said.

A permanent spot in the team roster could be waiting for him if he stays consistent.

“Malaking bagay yung exposure na ito para sa career ko. Sana, magtuloy-tuloy na,” Caperal highlighted.
